Rhinelander Cafe & Pub

Date Visited:  June 9, 2012
Location:       33 North Brown St.
                    Rhinelander, WI

Don't let the name fool you! This is much more than a Cafe and is certainly a Supper Club! Located right downtown, this is a family-owned establishment that has been around for "a long time".

Atmosphere: :):):)
You walk in to a dining area that is quite dark. Things improve as you make your way up to the bar and are greeted by the bartender. It's an older building that reflects the image of Rhinelander with somewhat of a mariner theme.

Clientele: :):):)
There appeared to be many families dining due to summer season. Assume that more "regulars" may visit during the off-season when tourists are gone.

Drinks: :):):)
Service was quick and drinks were prepared as needed. Old fashions were of traditional style and very good. The bar was comfortable with friendly service.

Food: :):):):)
Food was surprisingly one of the best aspects of our experience here. Ordered the tenderloin special and it was very good. Ample serving size and overall a very satisfying meal for the entire family. The tables may be a little too close to each other for some.

Hospitality: :):):):)
Great bartender and waitress. Very friendly at the bar, engaging conversation and making kids feel comfortable. The server very knowledgable about menu and patient with several orders.
